The Clues

I had an unforgettable moment of my life. It was last week when everything was nothing special but suddenly it happened.
Last Saturday morning, as usual I checked my mailbox. I brought all of my mails inside. I found a package with my name written on it. I found out it was from my boyfriend, Edward. There were four smaller packages inside the main package. The smaller packages were arranged with numbers. I opened the first package. Edward gave me a football jersey of Liverpool, our favorite club. There was note also told that Edward would pick me up at ten to play football together. I wore the jersey and getting ready. He brought me to our school football field. We played one by one shoots. He won because he could score seventeen and saved fifteen and I only could score five and saved three. Edward was really good footballer. When we were resting, he told me to open the second package only at six in the evening.

I did like what he said. At six, I opened the package number two. He gave me a beautiful gown. The note told that I had to use the gown and Edward would pick me up at seven. He brought me to a restaurant for dinner. We had an amazing and romantic dinner there. I tried to figure out why he gave me those gifts but he did not want to answer. He said it was still a secret. He only asked me to open the package number three immediately after I came home.
I came home and directly opened the package number three. He gave me a DVD. The note told me that I had to play the DVD. The video was about our love story. I watched our pictures together were arranged in slides and “My Valentine” by Martina McBride as the back song. At the end of the video, Edward said that he loved me and explained about his plan to continue his study to University of Liverpool. He asked me to open the package number four; the last package.

I did it as the order from the first package until the last package. This time he gave me a ring. The note told that Edward was waiting for me outside my house and wishing his future wife would open the door for him. I almost cried that time. I did not know what to do because I was very confused but I loved him so much and wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
Finally, I brought the ring and walked into the door. My body was shaking when I reached the door handle. When I opened it, there was Edward standing with a bucket of lilies, my favorite flower.

He asked for my hand in marriage because he wanted to marry me before he went to Liverpool. I really loved to but I could not. I said no and he looked so disappointed. I explained my reasons that we were too young and I was not ready to leave this country. I wanted to go college here. Even though I refused, he asked me to save the ring. I agreed.
It was a great day. He gave me the clues for directing me to be his side. I am his fiancée now.

About Steven Gerrard (part 1)

Readers, you know why I loved Steven Gerrard? You can find the answer here...
I still remember when I started to know about Liverpool FC. There was a player named Michael Owen. He was a good-looking guy that I ever saw. At that time, I didn't know anything about Steven Gerrard, I didn't know him, I never heard his name before, and in my mind just Michael Owen passed. Till I watched one of the match Liverpool vs (I forgot), I saw someone else run and made the first goal for Liverpool, and directly I felt something special in mine. I looked around for that guy and I wanted to know him closer. I tried to see his name in his backside, and gotcha! His name was Gerrard and she wore number 8 in his red uniform.
From that time, I forgot Owen and started to love Gerrard. I knew it was too fast to forget Owen. However, he was the first guy who made me loved football. But I couldn't do anything; my heart said that Gerrard was the great footballer in the world.
Gerrard's full name was Steven George Gerrard. He was born in Whiston Merseyside, 30th May 1980. Now, he has a lovely wife named Alex Curran (23rd September 1982), one of the England's models. They have two beautiful daughters, Lilly (23rd February 2004) and Lexie (9th May 2006). Lexie was born before Gerrarrd went to Germany to support England’s squad. Gerrard was belong to Liverpool FC as a captain and England's National Team as a vice-captain after John Terry.
The reason why I loved Gerrard is he can prove that he is the good man. He has a big responsibility for his team and family. He loves them so much. He can be good husband for Alex and good father for Lilly and Lexie. Even he wrote Lilly's name in his football shoes, so he can see his daughter's name when he wears his shoes. It can be the spirit for him. His loyalty to his team makes him exist and always consistent. So he is trusted to lead the team as a captain, and he can do his duty very well. He loves Liverpool as his blood, soul, life, and everything that he has. He never wanna move to another clubs, he just wanna stay in Anfield forever. No one can replace his role as a leader's team in Liverpool.
Gerrard made anyone who knew him felt proud with everything that he has done. He showed the hard working, gave the spirit and the big courage to step up. He was full awarded for his loyalty.

About Steven Gerrard (part 2)

I always think what a lucky Alex. She was loved by the man like Gerrard. Seeing he fights in the field, waiting him comeback home, and giving Lilly and Lexie to complete their life make me wanna feel like what she does. Alex is the member of England WAGs, the community for the wives or girlfriends of England's footballers. Alex's best friend is Louisa Owen (the wife of Michael Owen).
I feel that I have a connection with Gerrard. What? Do you believe it? Mmm...I mean, I feel sad if he’s sad, I feel happy if he’s happy. And you know! I ever cried when Gerrard got the red card and sent off by the referee. What a damn referee!!!!!!!!!!! He made me full of tears. Eh, not full, yeah...maybe just a half, he he he....
And you wanna believe this or not. Actually, at the beginning, I loved Gerrard not because of his face. I loved him because I was so proud with what he was doing. He made me felt sympathy. Now, I realize that he has a good face too. He was handsome.... :-)
When I see he plays in the field and wears the captain band in his left arm, I....oh... I can't explain it!!!! I'm confused. I can't say anything. I just feel so proud, and he looks so cool. And when I don’t see him play as the starter, or he becomes a substitution, I can't enjoy the match. I feel that there is something lost and incomplete.
In my dream I really wanna go abroad to England. I wanna study English closer. Because I know that English is the most important language in the world. Almost countries use English as the second language after their own language, or may even as the first choice. And of course, I wanna go to Whiston, the town where Gerrard was born, I wanna visit Anfield, the stadiun of Liverpool FC, watch the Liverpool's boys practice, if I'm lucky maybe I can meet with them, face to face, and watch the match in Anfield. I wanna see what a beautiful Lilly and Lexie in fact than in the pictures.
I wonder that Gerrard can lead his team into a glory, not only in the premiership but also in the other international leagues. Without him, the team is attack less. He is a good midfielder; his long-kick is absolutely amazing. I remember he saved Liverpool from losing. First in the Champion League final 2005 vs AC Milan in Istanbul, he made a goal to break the score 1-3 from Milan..that was also the be the spirit for the squad, and they made it!. That was amazing night. In the FA Cup final against West Ham United in Cardiff, he gave two goals for Liverpool, and at the end, Liverpool won. This is one of the reasons why Queen Elizabeth II awarded him MBE (Member of The British Empire) for his appreciation. MBE was the loyalty title in England/Britain. Isn't it great? He also got the title from Liverpool’s John Moron University.
I ever read in the one article. Gerrard said he really wanna be a good captain, giving a lot of trophies for his team, and doing his duty as well as he can. He realizes about his responsibility as a leader. We know that Liverpool is the one of the big team in Europe. So, he must keep the team's honor.
